One of the best ways to start a night of fun in Clearwater is to take in a mesmerizing sunset. There are many excellent spots to can see the sun dip into the ocean, but did you know Clearwater has a festival dedicated to nature’s daily show?
Sunsets at Pier 60 is just a short walk or drive from Bamboo Beach Club Resort, and it brings entertainment 364 days of the year. Usually the festival starts two hours before sunset, and closes two hours after sunset.
Naturally the sunset is the star of the evening, but there are some other fun things you can experience on or around the pier at night.
Watch a Movie Under the Stars
BYOB (bring your own blanket) for Sunset Cinema free movie showings on Friday and Saturday nights. Upcoming films in October include Scooby Doo, Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban, Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

If you need to get your souvenir shopping done, or just want to get yourself a keepsake, Pier 60 is the place to be. Various crafters offer their wares to the public. From guitar pick jewelry to gel candles, there is something for everyone.
Busking on the Beach
Street performers are an important part of the Sunsets at Pier 60 Festival. You can expect fire shows, escapology, breakdancing and acrobatics to name but a few.
Bring the kids – Pier 60 is home to one of the largest beach playgrounds on the Gulf. And no worries – the park has restrooms and is open 24-7.
Of course, you can always chill out around the beautiful pool at Bamboo Beach Club Resort and watch the sunset that way, too!
