Taste Fest Kicks off Restaurant Week

If you’ve been to Clearwater Beach, you know there is no shortage of delicious food everywhere you look. Taste Fest opens the door to all the good food on May 8, officially kicking off Restaurant Week.

The event is just a short walk from Bamboo Beach Club Resort, on Clearwater’s Beach Walk Promenade. Come to the party and sample the many delectable dishes local restaurants will be competing with during Restaurant Week, May 11-22.

Enjoy food samples, premium wine and craft beer, live music, fireworks and more. And once you get a taste, you’re bound to want more.

During Restaurant Week, visit any participating restaurant to enjoy special three-course meals at a fixed price ranging from $15 – $35. You’ll have a chance to vote for your favorite food items and chef. You will also be given a passport to take with you as you dine at various restaurants.

Get your passport stamped at each place you visit, and once you collect four different restaurant stamps, you can enter your passport for a chance to win a grand prize.

Here’s a sneak preview of the restaurants you’ll find on your route: Caretta on the Gulf/Sandpearl; Clear Sky Beach Café; Jimmy’s Fish House; Bob Heilman’s Beachcomber; SHOR American Seafood Grill, Frenchy’s Saltwater Café, Shephard’s Ocean Flame and many more.

Taste Fest goes from 6:30-9:00 p.m. on May 8, with fireworks at 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person, children 6-13 years old $12.00 and children 5 and under free. Entrance tickets will be available at the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce Office or at the gate during the event.

Give your taste buds the best vacation ever during your May stay at Bamboo Beach Club Resort.
